Tenant. One client account. Everything lives inside it: users, data, extensions. Tenants never see each other, which is why every lab and every exam in this academy runs on a tenant of its own.

Entities. The legal companies of the group. Each entity has its own currency. A group with a US, a UK and a French company has three entities in USD, GBP and EUR.

Reporting axes. Beside entities, K-φ reports by:

Business unit, for brands, divisions or product lines;
Third party, for customers and suppliers.

The same axes run through FP&A and Cash. A customer is the same third party in the ledger and in the open receivables, so a DSO can be traced to the invoices behind it.

Two setup decisions are hard to change later, so take them early with the client:

Decision	Ask
Entity list	Which legal companies are in scope, now and within a year?
Business units	How does management actually read the business?

A wrong entity list shows up everywhere downstream: consolidated totals, intercompany, cash pools.
